    Birmingham has a rail-side seat as railroad transport regains steam

    • Patrick Murphy, Senior Vice President of the Birmingham Business Alliance, spoke to the McCallaCan meeting on November 9 to objectively address the question of jobs creation. Patrick is in charge of economic development for the Birmingham Business Alliance, an organization formed in July 2009. The BBA combined the efforts of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and the Metropolitan Development Board to give business and economic development leadership to the seven county Birmingham Metropolitan Area.
